FACE MASKS
This is designed to provide a high level of protection against airborne infections. It is proven technology and is widely used in the fight against Covid-19 throughout the world. When deployed it can significantly reduce the chances of infection from a number of diseases. It is key part in the fight against Covid-19.
Even though it has one of the highest levels of filtration and can trap around about 94% of airborne particles. It is only fully effective when the full instructions are followed. Unless the proper procedures for wearing, fitting and using the masks are observed it will not protect you. The mask is an important element in the fight against the coronavirus and other airborne illnesses, and must be used in conjunction with other safety measures to ensure the highest levels of protection. The masks will in normal circumstances not irritate the skin nor do they adversely affect the health of the user under current or reasonably foreseeable conditions of use.
• Ergonomically designed mask with an external shape retaining mesh.
• Nasal fitting and additional nose seal.
• Can be used throughout the day except in very dusty conditions. The mask filter is designed to trap pathogenic particles.
• These masks are not reusable and cannot be shared.
USE AND FITTING
1. Make sure your hands are clean before putting on the mask. Before each use, all parts of the half mask should be checked for damage.
2. Grasp the inside of the mask by its edges, part the upper and lower panels to form the mask. Bend the nosepiece slightly in the middle of its length.
3. Make sure both mask panels are fully unfolded.
4. Hold the open mask with your hand, grasp both straps with your other hand. Put the mask on the chin, nosepiece up and put the tapes through the head.
5. Place the upper band around the top of the head, the lower band below the ears. The tapes cannot be twisted. Adjust the top and bottom panels so that the half mask comfortably adheres to the face, check that the panels and edges are not folded inside the half mask.
6. Using both hands, shape the nosepiece around the nose to ensure a good fit

HOW TO PREVENT INFECTION
When you cough or sneeze, cover your mouth and nose.
Wash your hands often with soap and water or disinfect with an alcohol-based preparation.
Keep at least 2 metres or more away from other people. Coughing and sneezing can reach people much further than 2 metres away.
