One of our biggest long Term Objectives is trying to promote healthy eating in Schools, Colleges and universities. We have a number of Vending Machines which are cable of vending products such as fruits, vegetables, low-fat dairy foods, and low-fat grain products.

Tackling childhood obesity is a critical issue in today's society and vending within schools, Colleges and University has come under much scrutiny with regards to the products on offer. Vendtrade is aware of the issues involved in providing children with enticing but healthy snacks, and believes that vending can offer a solution with the new Snack Point Duo From Westomatic.

The SnackPoint Duo is a unique two-temperature machine allowing you to offer a range of healthy snacks, such as low-fat savouries, cereal bars and dried fruit, as well as chilled bottles, cans and tetra-packs. The machine can also be configured to provide a range of fresh products including sandwiches, yoghurts and fruit.

The Agency's guide therefore provides practical advice on how schools can achieve this and help promote healthier teenage diets.'

There's no doubt in my mind that it will help schools establish an effective and profitable healthy drinks vending machine, as part of the whole-school approach to food and nutrition.'
