RESERVOIR COOLING SYSTEM

This is the classic cooling system found on most water coolers. Its popularity is due to its simplicity and the fact that it produces reliably excellent results. It is the most effective system in high-usage environments and in those countries where the temperatures reach heights that would compromise the functionality of other cooling systems. The water supplied from the mains or from the bottle is conducted into the reservoir, where, thanks to the lower temperatures, it rapidly becomes chilled.

The reservoir is insulated by a polyethylene foam covering to maintain the temperature at a low level. It takes only around 3 minutes for the water to reach a temperature of between 3° and 10°C, but, clearly, the cooling times depend on the temperature of the water at the inlet - the cooler it already is, the less time it will take to chill to the correct temperature.

Each model in the Cosmetal range comes equipped with either a stainless-steel reservoir or an FDA-approved, food-grade HDPE polyethylene reservoir.
In both cases, the reservoir is easy to remove, facilitating maintenance and sanitization. The use of smooth stainless-steel inhibits bacterial proliferation and slows the formation of limescale deposits.

The food-grade polyethylene reservoir is used on the more economical models in the range, and can be easily replaced.
